A little pencil test I did playing around with Pencil for the Mac. Its the first time ive tried animating like this on a tablet before so its a little wonky but pretty cool all the same! I cant wait to play around with it more.
And the Run cycle. Did I mention this was during finals week, THE WEEK I GRADUATED. So yeah. It was a lot more work than I wanted to do that week but whatever. I am happy with it overall. Also, not to brag but I totes one that animation desk. Its amazing.
Some more old animation stuff I’ve got laying around that I haven’t put on tumblr yet. A walk and run cycle of a centaur. One of our teachers had an old Nick animation desk he had to get rid of because they were moving into a smaller house, so he decided to hold a contest with the students. Whoever did the best Walk and Run cycles by the end of the week would win the table. This is what I came up with.
Working on my portfolio to send and get jobs this weekend I have realized how little of my work is on tumblr, so here is a short a couple buddies and I made for class a couple years back. For having a total of 10 weeks to come up with an idea to a finished product I think it turned out pretty solid. I co wrote it, boarded it out, designed the Devil and Michael Jackson and animated them both. Hope you enjoy it!

Going through my portfolio work, here is an animation I did that was a final for a Character animation class. We were given the character design and the scratch track ( I know its awful) and had to do what we could with it.

gwanimation home (digital) studio v2 is up and running! Now lets get to animating!

Here is an animation of the Pink Panther wailing on some drums. This was the first time I had ever tried to sync up my animation with an audio file, so its ever so slightly off but still. It was fun and i think looks alright all in all.
Here is a short animation of a little robot trying to play dodge ball I did. I am going to be trying to putting up more of my original work as opposed to just reblogging stuff from around the internets.
Enjoy!
Say hello to GWanimation home studios! NOW OPEN! This is an old Nickelodeon animation desk I got from a teacher of mine who was holding an animation contest because he no longer had room for it. Its so cool to have a piece of animation history like this to call my own and hopefully add to the legacy some day. Now I just need to get some work done…
